An intensely-colored and rotund, sky-blue, single Aquamarine crystal from the Shigar Valley in Pakistan. The Hindu Kush has produced some great Aquamarines and this one is very good! It is an impressive, largely gem crystal with a super glassy luster. It has beautiful sky-blue color and sharp prism faces with flat pinacoid terminations at both ends. The crystal has some veiled inclusions, a few fractures, and one diagonal repair, that don't compromise its beauty too much and there are a few chips and some contacting at the base resulting in a good price point on this attractive Aquamarine crystal. Basically, it is big, gemmy, and pretty, but has some issues. Nevertheless, the price is good for something that looks like it is worth far more when sitting on your shelf. 125 grams
