This specimen is the single largest and richest matrix piece I have seen of this rare habit of wulfenite from Los Lamentos, circa the 1960s. With large crystals, isolate don contrasting matrix, and a great 3-dimensionality as a whoel to the specimen, you simply couldn't ask for more! I have seen such size and quality in the common habits, of squarish-looking crystals, but NEVER with the rare bipyramidal form. I believe that Los Lamentos has produced the finest examples of this habit, as well.
