Curved and curled spinel-twinned copper crystals with a rich patina form an elongate dense nest on this excellent old-time piece from the Tsumeb Mine. Very unusually, there are several knobs of densely packed, small, sharp, tetrahexahedral copper crystals. The crystals are attached to a bit of quartz. Ex. Schmidt and Ydren Collections.
