Known familiarly as "hobnail" calcite for its unusual form -- it is impossible to see from the photo, but the sides are acutally lustrous and intricately stepped, so they give off a beautiful pearly sheen. Wonderfully trimmed out on the matrix, with no damage or contact. MUCH prettier in person!
