A very rare polished specimen of classic "Dust Gold" associated with pinkish-brown Bustamite and Ferrobustamite set into massive white Quartz from the Idarado mine near Telluride. This specimen was analyzed by the late great mineralogist Gene Foord back in the early 1980s, and remains one of the only specimens of Bustamite/Ferrobustamite that I have seen from this mine. Ex.
