Funny enough, I bought this amazing, huge New Jersey natrolite in a purchase of minerals from the Canadian collection of Jeffrey Mine geologist Francesco Spertini. He had obtained it long ago, from a small but choice pocket of fine natrolite brought to market by Rock Currier circa 1976. this pocket is still known today as having produced some of the finest crystallized examples of the species, though crystals are understandably rare. I was stunned at the size, completeness, and perfection of this huge crystal - 4 inches tall! This is old material, no longer available on the market except from old collections. Many folks consider them to be some of the finest examples of the species known.Joe Budd Photos
