This is a huge, small melon-sized specimen of creedite, complete-all-around except for a very little bit of contacting in a few points of the backside. It is shaped like a giant egg, and has sharp, pointy crystals to over 1 cm sticking out all over. With the intense color, the creedites from this find of August 2009 really redefine what one can expect for the species. Although this locality has produced much creedite in the past, a recent exploration tunnel driven to a deeper level of the mine found 2 pockets with this intense color, which is quite above the normal quality of past finds. That entry has now collapsed, and it seems unlikely it can be economically redeveloped. Weighs 1235 grams.
