The bark-like matrix of iron-rich coronadite here is covered with a rich druse of lozenge-shaped, doubly-terminated little light dove-grey crystals of smithsonite. The smithsonites cover the matrix all the way around, and on top and bottom - it was obviously loose in the pocket, allowing the crystals to grow all over it. Classic Broken Hill locality! Ex. William Hiss Collection.
