This specimen is solid vesuvianite - some massive, some formed into fine crystals! It blends both green and purple hues. The purple crystals are primarily small, and the green ones measure to about 0.7 cm, with fine, glassy faces shining everywhere. The Jeffrey closed awhile back, and the material (which was never common) is now notably scarce.
