Halite
A stunning, old-time halite crystal from a classic German locality - Stassfurt, Saxony-Anhalt. The amazing azure-blue color banding is unreal. Rarely do you find halite in a form other than cubes or octahedrons, so this very sharp clear tabular crystal is truly a gem in its own right aside from being gemmy per se. Complete all around. Some of the faces may be cleavages. It's really hard to tell.
