This fine aquamarine specimen is out of the collection of Marty Zinn. This double-crystal is just SENSATIONALLY bright, gemmy and GLASSY. Even with all the aquas that come out of Pakistan, EXTREMELY few have this appearance - it takes nearly perfect conditions in the pocket to get this clarity and especially surface luster (which looks almost polished, it is so bright!). Then there is the fact that the smaller crystal that has grown against the larger one has both its upper and lower terminations exposed, and the two crystals sit just perfectly side-by-side on the matrix, one slightly above the other. The camera sees right through the glassy surface and just picks up the internal "garden," so in person this specimen is far more beautiful, with the reflections off of the fine faces.
