Just an aragonite?! With a spectacular purple hue and luster, this doubly terminated and twinned crystal originates from the type locality for aragonite and really stands out from all others I have seen. The pinacoidal faces do not have much color and appear to have been frosted but the frontal faces of the hexagonal barrel are lustrous and bright. The purple color rivals that of the fluorapatites from the Pulsifer Quarry in Maine! A few gemmy sidecar crystals are along for the ride. I know some people are looking at this thinking I am insane, but it really is THAT good and I paid for it, too..
