A fine thumbnail example of the classic Aussie emeralds! Australian emeralds are notable, and recognizable among collectors, for the fine green layered banding you see here. It is difficult to show in a photo, as the piece is so reflective. Probably easier to see in a video. Note that, unusually, this is doubly-terminated with a fine glassy termination on the bottom end (one photo shows it on top, to make the point. Old material, seldom seen for sale today.
