A stunning GEM crystal of Aqua from a recent find - not just gemmy, but GEM read-through, glassy, transparent, etc etc. The crystal is complete nad totally pristine except for a small conchoidal break at the back edge of the very bottom 1/2 inch, not visible anyways. It has 2 interesting attributes at its termination:!) minor etching o nthe sides adds minute vertical lines at the edges which reflect light nicely; and 2) it has very unusual, interesting, microcrystalline aquamarines accenting the termination - its an effect I have not seen before, and it adds a lot of sparkle to an otherwise typical basal termination. These are two of the gemmiest, glassiest, large unrepaired aqua singles of this quality that I have ever had the privilege to offer my customers for under 10k. I couldn't believ ehte quality for the price, when they got unpacked - I bought them as a friend travelled through the DFW airport en route to the Denver show, directly from Peshawar.
