A very AESTHETIC and UNCOMMON Namibian specimen from Grootberg Pass of two, off-white to tan stilbite crystals jauntily placed on coated vesicular basalt. The large, bulb-like stilbite is 5.3 cm. The stilbites are pristine. The back shows classic vesicular, with a multitude of gas bubble pockets, some lined with zeolites. This is a very FINE specimen of stilbite from an uncommon for the species locality and comes from the collection of Dave Mansfield, son-in-law of noted Namibia dealer and collector, Sid Pieters.
