Before this find at an old industrial manganese mine in Brazil, only a few rhodonite crystals of such a quality came out of Australia at the turn of the 1900's. However, due to this find around 2010, there are large, showy rhodonite crystals on the market for collectors. This is a very fine thumbnail of cherry-red, gem rhodonite. It has phenomenal luster, translucency, and gemminess! A choice thumbnail that is sure to make people stop and take a second look!
