Hundreds of lustrous, translucent to gemmy Smithsonites populate this knob of mixed Galena and Tennantite. The Smithsonites, which average about 8 mm in size, have excellent luster except where there is a preferential dusting of micro Galena. Very good representative specimen for this locale. If you look at the pics, the bright luster makes it appear like a cluster of shiny, tan grapes.
