A long, slender, single, gem Calcite crystal from the famous Bor Pit mine in Dalnegorsk, and classic production from the 1980s-1990s. This three inch Calcite crystal is completely clear and colorless exhibiting an internal network of criss-crossing traces that just reflect every ray of incident light to produce a glowing obelisk. Crystal faces and edges are well defined and display a glassy luster with much of the crystal dominated by prism faces that give way near the top to tapering scalenohedral faces right to the perfectly intact point. A sharp single very reminiscent of, but more lustrous then, English Calcites!
