A very beautiful, unusually well-crystallized cluster of sky-blue Hemimorphite crystals from Kipushi in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). The largest of these translucent Hemimorphites is slightly over 1 cm across, and they are intergrown into rounded clusters. This color for Hemimorphite is exceedingly unusual for the famous Katanga province, and this small cab has a nice aesthetic all its own. #8264 from Kay's collection, this was acquired in 1977.
