A SUPER CLASSIC, OLD-TIMER from the famed Strickland Quarry of Connecticut. This is a LARGE, sharp, complete all-round, translucent, blue-green aquamarine crystal that is beautifully topped with lustrous, golden muscovite flakes. Very nearly pristine, the trivial bit of edge wear on one corner, near the base is barely noticeable, and is certainly not detracting from this lustrous classic. The un-retouched backlit photo (lower) highlights the beautiful, intense color saturation and translucency. This famous quarry is long-closed, has been filled and is now under a golf course. Ex.
