This blue topaz is from the other blue topaz locale in Brazil, the lesser known stepchild to Itinga and the Virgem de Lapa area. The color of these is in fact bluer, more intense. But they are often confused for Itinga or Xanda mine material. This crystal is extremely equant and well-developed, with sharp side edges and a chisel-shaped top termination. Weighs 33 grams.
