This is an extremely high quality specimen. First of all it is nearly free standing. Several, translucent and lustrous, clusters of deep blue, cavansite line up transversely across the specimen, curving elegantly in a chain from lower left to upper right. The cavansite clusters measure up to 1.5 cm across, and most of them are nestled, sculpturally, among clusters of lustrous, tan, stilbite, which also reach 1.5 cm across. I particularly like the color contrast between the two species, both of which ar eso superbly crystallized here. It is MUCH BETTER In PERSON!
