One of the larger isolated crystals with what I call "oldstyle" form, from the large new find of vesuvianites brought to the show. This attractive limey green, lustrous crystal is reminiscent of the best of the old vesuv's with their sharp terminations, so unique to this quarry. This one is relatively inexpensive because it has an almost trivial ding at the tip (on the back face) which allowed me to get it on the cheap myself, though otherwise it is superb and would be priced quadruple if perfect. 5 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm
