An absolutely gem-clear Topaz from a highly desirable locality. Complete three-quarters of the way around (broken only on the back face), the conchoidal fractures on the back from the contacts show perfectly through the crystal, making it surprisingly difficult to photograph. BETTER In PERSON, therefore. It is unusual in that, contrary to the usual faintly blue topaz crystals known from the locality, this one is truly colorless. 3.6 x 3.1 x 2.5 cm
