Top luster, saturated natural blue and purple colors, and a great display ability when even only moderately backlit make this 139-gram tanzanite crystal a very desirable specimen for the size and price range. It has a lot of "bang for the buck," for tanzanite. Most crystals in this size and price range would sacrifice color or luster, but this has both. It is perfect and complete all around, as well. Note the red color shining up when lit through the C-axis, proving that it is a natural piece and not heat treated. Comes with a custom lucite base. This specimen is an older piece I sold a decade ago and got back recently as trade, leaving the old price the same. I probably cannot replace it today for this cost, in the larger world market.
