Lustrous, tan hemimorphite crystals richly line a curved vug in limestone matrix on this classic, old-time specimen from the Granby Field, Missouri of the Tri-State District. An old, faded A.E. Foote label is glued/taped to the bottom of the base (to protect it, after removing it from the specimen), dates the specimen to the late 1800s or very early 1900s. Ex. George Feist Collection.
