A seldom seen Calcite from the Osceola mine near Silverton. This specimen is filled with sharp, chocolate brown Calcite scalenohedra bursting in every direction. The crystals have a matte luster and are apparently coated as the underside of the piece shows white/colorless Calcite crystals. Ex. Jaime Bird Collection.
