A fascinating floater specimen of goethite that has replaced (pseudomorphed) a spiky ball of crystallized marcasite retaining its crystal form perfectly. The triangular form is repeated in small sub-faces all over the crystals. Beautiful specimens from the Egyptian desert. Now, I am told it is too dangerous to go get these, near the border with Libya.
