This big, impressive Dalnegorsk calcite was very hard to photograph. In person, it is quite gemmy, with lustrous faces, and hexagonal form with a good termination on top. There are a couple of very minor dings around the edge. It is actually a slight scepter - you can see a ridge running all the way around with the bottom slightly smaller than the top.
