A stunning crystal so sharply formed, it looks like glass, from very old finds here. I got this from well-known collector of the "golden era" George Holloway back in the 1990s, and he had it for decades by then. Nearly completely glassy and gemmy, and with a rich saturated blue color, this superb specimen features two crystals, to 4 cm in length. The terminations of each crystal are vastly different! One has a steep pyramid and the other is a typical (although incredibly gemmy and glassy) hexagonal termination. Pristine save for a tiny ding on back, this is otherwise complete 360 degrees all around. I have always thought it to be one of the more stunning miniatures of this species, and have known it since the early 1990s. The mass is 28 grams. It is a full miniature, with shocking presence. It is probably from the 1960s heyday here. The quality is like no other I have seen from here, for sharpness and luster, as they are usually matte finished and slightly etched. It is a special thing!
