3.6 x 3.2 x 2.8 cm (largest). A fine 5-piece set of calcite crystals from an uncommon Mexican locale - Abasolo, Durango. All 5 of the pieces have butterfly-twinned calcite crystals on them. The smallest thumbnail is a fine butterfly-twin. The other twins are nicely set with scalenohedral or blocky calcite crystals. These came from a find around 7 years ago and all of the calcites have distinctive "silky" lustre. Ex. Dave Stoudt Collection.
