A showy display-quality miniature with sharp, brilliantly lustrous crystals to 2 cm long, on matrix! These specimens are from the classic, best-of-species find at Ilfeld in the late 1800's. The locality briefly produced what are widely regarded as the world's best of species for this mineral, and it has been defunct for over 100 years (see Bancroft's book Gem and Crystal Treasures). 4 x 4.4 x 3.6 cm
