A HUGE, 6.1 cm emerald crystal aesthetically set in calcite and shale matrix from Muzo. The emerald has gorgeous, intense, green color saturation and excellent gemminess and luster. This is CLASSIC "emerald green." It is simply beautiful and the sheer amount of emerald here packs a wallop visually. This single (crudely terminated) crystal was naturally broken by tectonic forces in the pocket and the calcite filled in the void, giving the nice "belt" around the middle of the crystal. The upper portion is gemmier and the crystal has a complete, frosted termination.
