Aesthetically emplaced on limestone matrix is a cluster of "ruby jack" sphalerite crystals, to 5 mm across along with lustrous, battleship-gray galena crystals, to 7 mm across. Interestingly, there is a coating of bitumen or oil (natural hydrocarbon residue from the pocket that glommed on sometime millions of years ago!) on the crystals. Mined from the Bahama ore body. RCL 1071.
