What an artistic piece of two different forms and colors of Calcite from Greece! The foundation of the piece is artistic, glistening, light mocha-colored, botryoidal Calcite that is enhanced by a white, crystalline Calcite "snowflake"at the top right of the piece for exceptional composition. The botryoidal Calcite is dual layered in most places and and varies from a light mocha color on the front to a creamy whitish gray on one side and the back. The crystallized Calcite "snowflake" is just splendid with its complex crystalline structure, that almost resembles a reticulated Cerussite! It is contacted on one area on the backside but otherwise complete 360 degrees all around. Ex. Wouter van Tichelen collection, the well known Belgian collector. We thought we had seen it all, but this is a surprise. It comes with a label from the Greek collector, as well.
