A large specimen consisting of wonderfully lustrous crystals of calcite sitting on a perfectly designed thin crust of matrix with a lower "shelf" and a rising backdrop. These crystals get their beautiful rusty-red color from rich inclusions of hematite. Ex. Mullane Collection.
