This is a huge topaz crystal in which you can see clearly a number of slender crystals of schorl tourmaline shooting right through the center, engulfed as the crystal grew. The crystal was apparently stream-rolled and/or polished along the lines of the original faces to give a better view into the gemmy center with its fascinating inclusions. This whopper topaz weighs over 300 grams! It has a pretty light amber color to it.
