Cluster of twinned, superbly lustrous Cassiterite crystals, on matrix, from the famous Ertzgebirge region. The two twins - the largest crystals, which are 2.6 cm long. The mirror-like luster is complemented by the amazingly deep, almost jet-black color. Using a strong light, you can actually see the crystals flash a beautiful, reddish-amber color. A very fine, old classic Cassitierite, with impressive crystal size that is, as happens so rately, aesthetic by modern tastes too! The old label is from the University of Modena museum.
