3.8 x 3.0 x 2.0 cm (Specimen); 16.94 carats; 17.51 mm x 17.36 mm (Gem) - Dolomite is not often found in gemmy/translucent crystals, let alone TRANSPARENT examples that will yield large gemstones. The specimen in this rough and cut set features an intergrown group of sharp, very well-formed rhombohedra with a silvery-grey interior, and is in great shape overall. The faceted stone is an impressive "Trillion Brilliant" cut gem with VS clarity and is nearly completely colorless, which is hard to find in stones this size from this locality. Gem quality carbonates are not terribly common in this size from any locality.
