A fine specimen from the Morenci Mine of Arizona and the Wesley Stark Collection. Sparkly, intergrown, ball-like clusters of rich, dark forest-green, primary malchite crystals are festooned on the bubbly, botryoidal crust of variably colored chrysocolla that covers the banded malachite on gossan matrix. This is from early 1990s material dug by Stan Esbenshade and sold to Stark by dealer Doug Wallace, who handled much of it. Classic and highly desirable species, especially the primary malachite, from this noted locale.
