A classic combination piece from the great mines at Mont Saint-Hilaire. The Serandite-Analcime combination is one of the most famous, and highly desired, combinations, and both are excellent here. Good form and luster are hallmarks of both species here, with the flesh-colored Serandite blades reaching 5 cm and the largest, complex, euhedral Analcime reaching 1.3 cm. In combination there are white, pearly blades of Polylithionite (Mica group) that fluoresce a brilliant white. There are also tan crystal sprays of an unknown mineral (Pectolite, Calcite?) that fluoresce a modest red. The Aegirine (Acmite) blades exceed 1.5 cm, and may even reach 2 cm. This is a distinguished and aesthetic combination piece from famous Mont Saint-Hilaire. Obtained in trade by Dr Art Soregaroli from the National Museum of Canada in 1991.
