Gray limestone acts as the matrix for an really spherical cluster of splendent sphalerite crystals measuring 9.0 cm across. The brilliantly lustrous crystals of sphalerite abound with gemmy, orange-red, highlights. For the style of sphalerite, this is hands down one of the nicest specimens I have seen! The sphere is really equant and COMPLETE all around, making the piece so dramatic.
