Absolutely scintillating, Dioptase on Calcite specimens like this are among the most desirable of the classic combinations from Tsumeb. The mm-size Dioptases are gemmy and highly lustrous, and against the white Calcite they create a dazzling image of green gems on a pristine snow field. There is even a dusting of olive-green Duftite to add visual and mineralogical interest. This is an excellent small cab, and highly representative of this pairing. Great aesthetics. Not important for crystals of either species, but it is simply BEAUTIFUL in combination!
