A SUPERB cluster of sharp spinel crystals on calcite matrix, with that wonderful shoe-polish luster. The specimen is dominated by a single crystal, 6-cm across, deep black in color; and with sharp faces. There are several unassuming contacts which are not offensive in the display angles, and the piece displays with a lot of beauty for a black crystal. 411 grams
