While cavansite is certainly common enough, few specimens really "leap out" at me anymore and say "buy me" like this one did. It is just super bright and colorful in person, with great contrast. It has several different styles of crystallization, all with the top, intense, saturated blue color that frankly is SO blue that it looks fake. Complete all around, this is one of my favorites of recent years, amidst so much normal and just "nice" cavansite. Joe Budd Photos
