A Highly unusual specimen we found in the old Obodda dealer stock, as yet unprepped from his acquisition of it in the Pakistan markets in the early 2000s. This is the first time it has now been cleaned and trimmed. Normally forming in tabular crystals, Morganites in elongated, prismatic "barrel shaped" form from the Pech area are rare. This outstanding and aesthetic combination specimen is highlighted by a pair of dramatically placed, front and center, doubly-terminated Morganites. These are totally gemmy, with a pleasing, watery pink color. The prism faces are predominantly glassy and clear, with the edges and terminations having mild etching. The longest Morganite is 5.5 cm long, 3 cm thick, and completely doubly-terminated. The dominant Morganite is 4.2 cm long, 4.3 cm wide, and partially DT'd. Almost never will you see a pair like this! They are complemented by numerous, chisel-point Topazes that are water-clear and superbly lustrous. All on numerous books of Mica, with a little green tourmaline thrown in for color. An exceptional and rare combination specimen, quite unique from other styles.
