This is an OLD Missouri specimen from Pea Ridge - a group of brassy and bright crystals of chalcopyrite on a bed of calcite crystals that have been coated with a dark mineral, so that they provide a pretty contrast for the chalcopyrites. The chalcos have the jagged form typical for this locality.
