This well-prepared, large cabinet, circular basalt vesicle is spectacularly lined with glassy, gem-like, colorless apophyllite crystals with a few pink stilbite blades as a nice accent. A spectacular 4.5 cm, gem, twinned, amber calcite crystal dramatically rests on a mound of apophyllite crystals dead-center in the vug. The calcite is limpid, highly lustrous and has an unusual twinning form. This is a superb, very aesthetic, large calcite and apophyllite specimen.
