A 2.3 cm, gemmy and lustrous, green-blue emerald crystal attractively attached to the side of biotite schist matrix from Austria. Knowledgeable European collectors consider these to be emeralds though this one is a wee bit bluer than most (grading into aquamarine). This is a highly representative and desirable emerald from a renowned locality. Both terminations are contacted into the matrix but it displays well. Ex. Wein Collection and collected in 1985.
