This specimen features an intergrown, mostly twinned cluster of very lustrous, black cassiterite crystals, to 2 cm in length. A single, doubly terminated, colorless quartz crystal, measuring 1 cm in length, is nestled among the cassiterite crystals. Accompanied by three late 19th. century labels. A gorgeous specimen for the locality, and with equally gorgeous old labels that tell a story of how long it has been treasured and passed hand to hand by collectors.
